Why? Why? Why? Are people mean, creul, stupid? This is Dolly. Starving in a field in MO, owners wouldn't sell her until she went down and was dying. Thank God for 2 caring people who bought her, rented a trailer and hauled her to Rainbow Meadows Rescue in Sedan, Ks. She is named Dolly. She's trying her best to live. It's going to cost hundreds of dollars to get her healthy again. After the bill of sale was signed, I would have beaten the hell out of those people. Poor horse doesn't even have the strength yet to get herself up. She has to be lifted with a tractor, very carefully. I have met Karen and husband David at Rainbow Meadows and they are very knowledgeble about horses. I'm helping as much as I can by donating to them for Dolly's care. It's going to be a long haul for Dolly, Karen and David too. God bless'em.

rainbowmeadows.com is their website. Please visit and donate a few dollars if you can. They are a 501 c3 so your donation is tax deductable.

Praying for you Dolly. Hang in there girl.

Poor Dolly - so sorry that people are so mean.

Maggie - thanks for posting - the URL that you posted is incorrect - I googled them and found this URL -

Maggie - I donated 20.00 - it's all I can afford now. I had to go to a number of pages on their site before I found the donate button for Paypal.

Maybe this URL would be a better one to post, because it will take people right to the donate page -

Thank you so much for correcting my error and the donation. Every little bit helps. God Bless you! Dolly is standing on her own with help as of yesterday. Yea!

After I donated, I came across the thread that Donegal started on ABR about Dolly. I'll be watching her progress and praying that she has a great recovery. She is a wonderful horse already.

God Bless you for all you do Maggie,

Adelle

That just makes me sick to see a horse in that condition. Why don't people ask for help before this happens.

Buddy, thank you for your comment. These people were uncaring and irresponsible towards Dolly. She is improving now.
